Twerkout Class

The Twerkout Class brought a different kind of energy to Revamp Training—one built around movement, music, confidence, and simply having fun.
Held at our Dorchester studio, the class gave participants a chance to step away from their usual routine and experience fitness in a way that felt less structured and more expressive. The class was led by Jenn Ruiz, a multidisciplinary artist whose work centers on conscious movement and sensual dance. She brought that experience into the session, creating a high-energy space where participants could move, express themselves, and have fun.

Twerkout was designed to be approachable, whether someone was comfortable dancing or just there to try something new. There was no pressure to get every move right. The focus was on moving your body, enjoying the music, and being part of the experience.
And that was a big part of what made the event special.
Fitness does not always have to look like lifting weights, running on a treadmill, or following a traditional workout program. Sometimes, movement can simply be about letting go, having fun, and finding a new way to connect with your body.

The class also created a strong sense of community. Participants encouraged one another, shared plenty of laughs, and brought an energy that made the room feel welcoming from the moment the music started.
Events like Twerkout are a reminder that staying active can take many forms. The best kind of movement is not always the one that feels the most intense or burns the most calories. Sometimes, it is the one you genuinely enjoy enough to keep coming back to.

A huge thank you to Jenn for leading the class and bringing such great energy, and to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make the event what it was.
