What started as a simple idea turned into something much bigger than we expected.

March 21st, Saturday, we hosted the Boston DodgeBrawl—a high-energy dodgeball event that brought together teams, friends, and community members for one purpose: to move, connect, and give back.

And safe to say… it delivered.

Organized Chaos (In the Best Way Possible)

From the first whistle, the energy in the room was undeniable.

Balls flying across the court.

Teams diving, dodging, and competing like it was the finals.

Crowds reacting to every hit, catch, and near-miss.

It wasn’t your typical “gym class” dodgeball.

It was intense.

It was competitive.

But at the same time, it was filled with laughter, encouragement, and moments you just had to be there to fully appreciate.

That balance—that mix of chaos and camaraderie—is what made the event special.

Players lined up and ready at the start of a dodgeball match, with red balls placed at center court.

We had multiple teams show up, each bringing their own personality, energy, and style of play.

Some came ready to win.

Some came just to have fun.

Most came for both.

But beyond the competition, what stood out the most was how people showed up for each other.

Strangers became teammates.

Friends became rivals (for a few rounds 😅).

And everyone became part of something bigger than themselves.

Playing for a Purpose

At its core, this event wasn’t just about dodgeball.

It was about supporting InnerCity Weightlifting—an organization that’s changing lives through strength training, mentorship, and career opportunities.

Every team that signed up, every person who showed up, and every donation made contributed to that mission.

That’s what gave the event real meaning.

Because while the games ended, the impact goes far beyond the court.

What’s Next

If this event proved anything, it’s that there’s something powerful about bringing people together through movement.

This won’t be the last.

And if you missed this one—don’t worry. We’ve got more coming.
